ABOUT ACM
Arctic Circle Motorsport Club was founded in 2003, but has roots back to the very first race of Norwegian road racing nearly fifty years ago. The world's nothernmost road racing club is located in Mo i Rana just south of the Arctic Circle, and is affiliated with the Norwegian Motorsport Association, one of several sport associations under the The Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports.
By Dec 2021 ACM has close to three hundred members. The club is competent, resourceful, and inclusive, and many of the active riders are based elsewhere in the country. Several of our riders are in the Norwegian elite, and over the years the result is a lot of Norwegian champion titles in various classes.
This was repeated also in 2021.
ACM has a collaboration with Hemnes Motorsportsklubb in Korgen, 40 km south of Mo i Rana and the Hemnes Snowmobile Association in the same district. The clubs are well run, and owns a great self-build MX facility, and provides the region's best offer for those interested in motocross and snowmobile cross.
ACM's organizing staff and track crew
Most ACM's members are not active athletes, but active and hard-working participants in the club's skilled organizing staff. The club educate and exercise its crews in several disciplines, and we facilitate an international career leading up to events abroad. Crew members has been represented during road racing events in both Asia and Europe, and the club has ambitions to strengthen and further develop this international cooperation.

Our athletes
As a road racing rider, you will be affiliated with an ambitious club, and you will do your practice with other riders at one of Europe's absolute best racing tracks. The local road racing community is inclusive, and the riders support each other. The experienced riders have a lot to teach, and newcomers have a lot to learn.
ACM offers entry level bikes , 400 cc, for new members who want to try their hand at a circuit. To take a further step and become an active driver, require a license course including theory teaching and practical driving. For the license course, you must keep your own and technically approved bike, and there are strict requirements for the driver's safety equipment.

Fundamental for ACM is to develop motorsport in a more sustainable direction.
Inspired by the UN's sustainability goals, and with goals and guidelines set by the Norwegian Motorsports Association and FIM Europe, ACM will take its fair share of responsibility for a more sustainable and in the long run, a carbon-free motorsport.
ACM will not wait patiently for the changes to happen, but be an active contributor to the changes, both to listen and learn and to inspire and to influence. Through active participation in international forums, ACM will share its experiences with other clubs, associations and organizations.
As far as feasible, our events are carried out with emphasis on recyclable waste management, strict collection of environmentally hazardous waste, and without the use of disposable plastic cutlery. Each driver is obliged in their registration to handle their waste according to strict regulations.
Violation of the regulations may involve a refusal to start.
